Hudson ISD Families — Hudson’s Got Talent!

Hudson High School’s SkillsUSA chapter is excited to host Hudson’s Got Talent, a district‑wide talent show open to both middle school and high school students!

 AUDITIONS — March 17

Location: Hudson High School — Room 316
Time: After school

Students may select their preferred audition time slot directly on the Google Form.
Groups are welcome and should sign up together under one entry.

Audition Requirements

• All performance costumes/outfits must be worn to auditions.
• Acts requiring background music (singing, dancing, instrumental, etc.) must:
  • bring the track on a flash drive, or
  • email it ahead of time to maryokray@hudsonisd.org
• All lyrics, spoken scripts, monologues, or verbal content must be submitted at auditions or emailed in advance.
• Acts will be selected by the judges at auditions based on preparedness, appropriateness, and overall performance.

Time Slot Adjustments

If students leave gaps in the audition schedule while signing up:
We will adjust and condense time slots to keep auditions running smoothly.
If your student’s time changes, we will contact them directly to confirm the updated time. Time slots are in 10 minute increments--but the performers DO NOT have to fill the entire 10 minutes.

 ENTRY FEES (Only if selected to perform)

• $20 — Solo acts
• $30 — Group acts

All entry fees support Hudson High School’s SkillsUSA chapter

 PERFORMANCE NIGHT — March 21

Location: Hudson ISD Auditorium
Doors Open: 5:30 PM
Tickets: $5 (online or at the door)

 Awards

Three awards will be presented:

1. High School Winner
2. Middle School Winner
3. Audience Choice Award

Audience Choice Voting

Audience members may purchase Audience Choice tickets for $1 each at the show to vote for their favorite act. (There's no limit to how many Audience Choice tickets may be purchased.)
The act with the most purchased votes wins the Audience Choice Award. We can’t wait to see our Hornets shine on stage!
